Happy Easter!!

Totally stolen from Project Rungay but ohmigawd! Can you blame me?? Too cute to pass up. Love all the contestants, like with Christian's hair, Chris's leopard shirt and bright green tie, Jillian's little overalls, and Rami in his 'manly' shirt. And then the judges. I think they replaced Nina with Tim though, on the end there?? Then there's Victoria and Michael and Heidi! It's so cute. And the girl who made it was 17. Click here. [You have to go to number 34 for the Project Runway one, but there's other cute ones too.]
So, happy Easter you guys!!

Projet Runway: Final 5!!

Okay, so this challenge I liked. The designers went to the MET and they had to find a peice of art in one of three galleries to inspire the oufit for the challenge. And you know, two people were going to be out, because of Fashion Week and all.
So. Here goes.

Christian wins this challenge, guaranteed spot at Fashion Week. His was all European, you know how he likes to do that. Judges loved it. Though he really put emotion into his runway shows. What more is there to say?? It was fabulous, and you all knew it would be.

Jillian's outfit was actually really cute. I liked the little gold dress, but you can't see it in this picture. It was really cute, even if she was freaking out about the hemline at the last minute. I really liked it. In to Fashion Week, and shes so excited she almost pulls a Marylin Monroe.

Sweet P is out. Sad right?? Because I liked her. But lets be honest here...the dress? Not my favorite. I mean it was just kinda...blahh. It was supposed to be peacock-y. But it's not, not really. So I'm sad about Sweet P, but really, I can see how she was.

Chris did this thing that was a lot like the avant-garde challenge, but was a lot less severe. The judges liked it a lot, they thought it was v. v. dramatic and all but they were unhappy that he did something so similar to the avant-garde. In any case, it's a tie between him and Rami. They are going to show the top three looks in their collections upon return so the judges can decide who goes to fashion week.

Rami decided to do draping. What a surprise. Nina was very unhappy, but she liked the dress. And she is right, it's not like it is a bad dress, but he does draping a lot. So the judges were like 'Well, we like you both [Rami & Chris], so yeah, you both have to make a collection and so, yeah.'

xoxoxo
I love Maggie May!!! She is so adorable!! [Possible picture later??]

Project Runway-So Fierce!!

This challenge was so...weird. Come on, just admit it. Designing outfits for Women's Wrestling? Not exactly 'high fashion.' My favorite part of this episode though was when Tim goes 'You have 30 minutes to talk to the divas, then we're going to Spandex House.' I had to rewind it because I was like...Nooooo, he couldn't have said that! But then they go to this place with giant signs that say Spandex House everywhere. I loved it. So much. I also loved the part when Sweet P and Christian arm wrestled and Sweet P's like 'Some on over here you skinny twit!' and then Christian wins and he's like 'I'm a beast you guys, you don't even know!!'
The designs, in the order they were sent off the runway.
Jillian!! She did a good job this challenge, and they didn't spend an over excessive amount of time showing her sewing until the last minute. Her model, Michelle McCool, who Laura totally loves, loved Jillian's outfit though. She said it was totally her, and she would definitely wear it for wrestling.
Chris wins! Come on you guys, you knew he was going to win this. With his previous costume experience and everything. You just knew!! I loved his model, she has fab hair. She was my favorite, but Laura doesn't know who she is. She totally loved the outfit though. But the thing was, when they first saw her she was wearing leopard, then Chris was wearing that leopard shirt he loves so much so it was weird.
Christian!! He was so funny in this challenge. He was like 'I love this outfit more than any outfit I made on this show...that's kinda scary!' But then he was making leather chaps, and he was like trying them on and walking around in them, which I thought was so funny. His model loved them tough. It was FIERCE!
Surprise surprise, guess who hates Rami's? Nina. She was all 'Ohemgee, the color!' Rami's all 'I hated it, but I had to do it to please my client!' Like he's some big saint for doing that. Honestly, It was kinda weird. She was...like Barbie, if Barbie wrestled. [Hey, you never know, Barbie does like, everything!]

Sweet P's model was all about 'robe and reveal' and Sweet P's model was very unhappy with the robe. She thought it was too revealing. It was kind of funny because Sweet P had been like 'If I make her the wrong thing she could body slam me!' But the model wanted everything so tacky. Like with rhinestones and feathers. She was like Maddy from the prom challenge with Christian. Only with less fabric.
The previews at the end of lat week's PR showed Ricky saying 'I could give them pointers on what to do, but why should I?' I guess that really came back to bite him because Ricky is [finally] out!! He didn't cry when he found out. Which was kind of funny, seeing that he cries at everything else. The judges were all 'Well, it's a nice bathing suit.' Which is what Christian said earlier on in the show. And Tim told him 'It's a little Wonder Woman.' I'm just glad he's out though!
xoxo, gossip girl
[And yes I am aware that the final 5 showed their collections at Fashion Week , but I'm not doing any PR posts about that until I find out why there was 5 finalists and not 3. But let me say, some of the designs are amazing.]

Project Runway-What the heck?

Okay, so this week's challenge was...denim jeans. Create an outfit out of denim jeans. Now, don't get me wrong, some of the designers were creative, but why in the world is this relevant to like, the actual world of fashion? And some of the designs were pretty hideous. It was very funny though, when they were all in the van on the way to the warehouse Victorya's like "Are we meeting someone fabulous?" And Tim's all "We are fabulous, we don't need to meet anyone!" It was quite funny.Sweet P was originally going to make a wedding dress and I went spaztastic when I heard that. but Tim told her it would look atrocious, or one of his other big words so she chopped it and hemmed it.

Rami's. The judges were all "OHMIGOSH, you darling original thing! You used zippers on the skirt! How we love you so!" I guess it was okay...I wasn't crazy about it though.

Chris, omg. This dress was so weird! It had like, little bulging things on the side. And I didn't like the top. He was in the bottom three. [Dun dun dun!]

Christian's. See that thing on the knee of the jeans? That's cause he lengthened it with the sleeves of a denim jacket. It's okay, but really? I don't think people would wear it.

Ricky won this challenge. But he totally didn't deserve it. And get this. They are selling it at Levi Stores and it's sold out. I don't like it at all...and surprise surprise he started crying when he won!Jillian did a 'futuristic coat' type of thing. She was very mad about the fact that Victorya did almost the same thing, but then her model told her Victorya's looked ugly, so I guess she felt better. [Bottom 2!!]

Victorya is out! I didn't like her much. [Jillian's model was right!] She was always pinch-faced. I'm so glad she's gone. She was all "Oh, I grew up sewing at my mothers knee..." I was like 'Wow, you must have been a short child.'
xoxo, until next PR

Back&Having a Better Hair Day

I'm back and have watched Project Runway, and I think you deserve and update! [Actually I just feel like writing about it.]
This week's challenge was to create an avant-garde look that matched the model's over the top hairstyle. Halfway through the challenge, Tim informed them that they also had to come up with a ready-to-wear look that expresses the essence of the avant-garde design. They had to work in teams of two, and some teams didn't work so well...
Sweet P and Rami were working together and were deff not a good match. Rami was the team leader, and he kept being all "Sweet P, those pants should be done already!" Their avant-garde look was a corset with extra fabric, and pants under it. The judges did not think that this was avant-garde enough, so Rami was in the bottom two. Sweet P's ready-to-wear dress on the other hand, they loved. It was cute!

Avant-garde
Ready-to-wear
TEAM FIERCE!!! YAY!! In case you have been living under a rock, and didn't know this, Christian is quite obviously is on this team, and so is Chris. I really didn't think they would but they ended up with this layered avant-garde dress with a huge neck piece [that's 45 yards of fabric right there]. I didn't like the ready-to-wear dress though, it was really bland. But it doesn't matter at all because TEAM FIERCE WON!
Avant-gardeReady-to-wear
Jillian and Victorya we also in the top two, which was kind of ironic, because Jillian said they both had time management problems, and it would be amazing if they even finished the second outfit. Which they did, and Nina loved it, but I thought it was quite boring. The avant-garde outfit I absolutely loved! The coat was so marvy, regardless of the plaid.

Ready-to-wear

Kit and Ricky were also in the bottom two, and produced a prairie sort of thing from the model's hairstyle. With not-so-great colors. And the ready-to-wear was kind of sad. Ohmigawd I hate to be saying this, because I love Kit! But, sadly, because she was the team leader, she went home. I can see why, but I liked her. At least there's still Christian.
