She Has No Sense Of Fun

Candaia is amazing. Let me just state that now. Because it really is. I'm just sad I didn't get a black squirrel. Because Mariana was right, they really are cute.
Monday- I had to get up at like 5:30. I didn't like Monday because we were in the car pretty much all day. We stopped at this underground cavern thing and it was so cold down there. Mum was talking to Gavin and Dave and she was like "She has no sense of fun" referring to me. Well Mum, I happen to have a wonderful sense of fun, but not when its like 50 degrees, and I'm getting dripped on, when you're imitating Bear Grylls, talking about the worst food he's eaten [I really don't need to know about what that part of the goat looks like], and I have to restrain myself from blurting out what the girls team had to eat after they won the shot drinking contest on Shot At Love II in order to win a date with Tila Tequila. But I have a great sense of fun. We kept driving after we left there, and we didn't get to Canadia until about 8-8:30ish. So we went to dinner in one of the restaurants in the hotel. [The view was so pretty from our hotel room! You could see the falls perfectly!] And wrestling was on! [Raw, not Smackdown.] And I felt SO smart because I was talking with G about all these different wrestlers and I was so proud of myself. Not that I actually know a lot about wrestling, but Laura is very educational. So I was incredibly happy with myself and Dave's all "Are you scared yet?" to Mum, so that kinda ruined it. But still!! [Hm. Wrestling is on tonight. I may just watch it.]
Tuesday- Stood in line for a good part of the day. For some thing where you go behind the falls and you get all wet with the water. Then we went on the Maid of the Mist and we got wet on that too. I forget what else we did that day. But it was a wet day. We got wet a lot.
Wednesday- We went to a gift shop. I got some pretty fly boxers. We....I don't remember. We went to a movie in an Imax theater. But it was a movie about Niagara falls. It was less boring than I thought it would be though. We saw fireworks! They were so pretty!
Thursday- We left the hotel at like 10 so we got home at like 11 at night. But along the way we stopped in Cooperstown, which was totally obsessed with baseball. SO Gavin and Dave went to the baseball museum [boring] and Mum and I went out for ice cream. It was so yummy! We talked about William Sledd on the car ride home. So we finally got home and we watched Project Runway, and let me just say, there was some seriously laughable garments on that runway.
Anyway, I'm busy planning a wedding, so I gotta go :]

Gristides [How do you even pronounce that?]

The challenge on Project Runway last night was taken from Season 1, where all the contestants have to go to Gristides and make an outfit out of whatever materials they find in the store. And there ad good, bad and ugly.
The Good:
Kelli won this challenge, and she used like vacuum cleaner bags, but she dyed them and stuff, she was soooo totally creative, and she totally deserved to win this. She gets immunity for the next challenge.Korto was really good with this challenge. She used a tablecloth, but she added fresh produce, and was the only one that did, so that set her apart from everyone else. I like this though.

Daniel was creative in using paper cups for his dress. He cut them up and ironed them down and sewed them onto the muslin.
The Bad:
This was horrible. It was made out of crappy plastic trash bags and she started it like half an hour before the deadline. It was horrible. I'm very surprised she wasn't out. Stella wasn't very good.
Axe murderer much? Jerry was out. And it's was true, this was very odd.
The Ugly:
What the heck. Was this. I am AMAZED Blayne didn't go home because I hated this.

May I just say though, that I loved in the 'Coming Up Next Episode' Tim was all "Holla at ya boy!" Because it's such an un-Tim thing to say. We love you Tim!

Season 5 Starts Tonight!

Season 5 of Project Runway starts tonight. And really, shame on you if you haven't been checking Project Rungay all this time. Because really? I miss Heidi, Tim, Nina, and Michael.

We missed you!!

And the contestants for this season? Well none of them are as stand out with fabulous hair as Christian, but what can you do?

Fabulous.

And may I just say that some amazing people are watching for the very first time tonight [Lizzie] and that's just AMAZING. And I just can't wait! So remember, at 9 on Bravo! [5 minutes.]

Lifetime

Old news, I know. But I wanted to post about it anyway.
So Project Runway is switching after 2 more seasons, over to Lifetime. I'm sure Lifetime makes some great movies, but seriously? Heidi and Tim are going to be there but if Michael and Nina aren't signed will it be the same? Project Rungay goes into more detail here.

Italy Update

So we just came out of the post office and the guy in there, Tom, was like "Oh you need her original birth certificate to get her passport."

So I got scared because you know I really want to go to Italy. So every one's like "Oh, oh, it's okay, we're gunna get it."
So I'm scared, and I'm going to watch PR!!!
I WANT TO KNOW WHO WON SO BAD!

Project Runway Reunion!!

Thats right, it's that time of the year again! The Project Runway Reunion! Maybe not the most productive show, but it is deff funny. The best reunion was season 2 though, fer sure. Ya know, with the whole 'What happened to Andre?' And Santino imitating Tim and all.
Oh well. At least we have Christian this season.

Projet Runway: Final 5!!

Okay, so this challenge I liked. The designers went to the MET and they had to find a peice of art in one of three galleries to inspire the oufit for the challenge. And you know, two people were going to be out, because of Fashion Week and all.

So. Here goes.

Christian wins this challenge, guaranteed spot at Fashion Week. His was all European, you know how he likes to do that. Judges loved it. Though he really put emotion into his runway shows. What more is there to say?? It was fabulous, and you all knew it would be.

Jillian's outfit was actually really cute. I liked the little gold dress, but you can't see it in this picture. It was really cute, even if she was freaking out about the hemline at the last minute. I really liked it. In to Fashion Week, and shes so excited she almost pulls a Marylin Monroe.

Sweet P is out. Sad right?? Because I liked her. But lets be honest here...the dress? Not my favorite. I mean it was just kinda...blahh. It was supposed to be peacock-y. But it's not, not really. So I'm sad about Sweet P, but really, I can see how she was.

Chris did this thing that was a lot like the avant-garde challenge, but was a lot less severe. The judges liked it a lot, they thought it was v. v. dramatic and all but they were unhappy that he did something so similar to the avant-garde. In any case, it's a tie between him and Rami. They are going to show the top three looks in their collections upon return so the judges can decide who goes to fashion week.

Rami decided to do draping. What a surprise. Nina was very unhappy, but she liked the dress. And she is right, it's not like it is a bad dress, but he does draping a lot. So the judges were like 'Well, we like you both [Rami & Chris], so yeah, you both have to make a collection and so, yeah.'

Project Runway-So Fierce!!

This challenge was so...weird. Come on, just admit it. Designing outfits for Women's Wrestling? Not exactly 'high fashion.' My favorite part of this episode though was when Tim goes 'You have 30 minutes to talk to the divas, then we're going to Spandex House.' I had to rewind it because I was like...Nooooo, he couldn't have said that! But then they go to this place with giant signs that say Spandex House everywhere. I loved it. So much. I also loved the part when Sweet P and Christian arm wrestled and Sweet P's like 'Some on over here you skinny twit!' and then Christian wins and he's like 'I'm a beast you guys, you don't even know!!'

Jillian!! She did a good job this challenge, and they didn't spend an over excessive amount of time showing her sewing until the last minute. Her model, Michelle McCool, who Laura totally loves, loved Jillian's outfit though. She said it was totally her, and she would definitely wear it for wrestling.
Chris wins! Come on you guys, you knew he was going to win this. With his previous costume experience and everything. You just knew!! I loved his model, she has fab hair. She was my favorite, but Laura doesn't know who she is. She totally loved the outfit though. But the thing was, when they first saw her she was wearing leopard, then Chris was wearing that leopard shirt he loves so much so it was weird.
Christian!! He was so funny in this challenge. He was like 'I love this outfit more than any outfit I made on this show...that's kinda scary!' But then he was making leather chaps, and he was like trying them on and walking around in them, which I thought was so funny. His model loved them tough. It was FIERCE!
Surprise surprise, guess who hates Rami's? Nina. She was all 'Ohemgee, the color!' Rami's all 'I hated it, but I had to do it to please my client!' Like he's some big saint for doing that. Honestly, It was kinda weird. She was...like Barbie, if Barbie wrestled. [Hey, you never know, Barbie does like, everything!]

Sweet P's model was all about 'robe and reveal' and Sweet P's model was very unhappy with the robe. She thought it was too revealing. It was kind of funny because Sweet P had been like 'If I make her the wrong thing she could body slam me!' But the model wanted everything so tacky. Like with rhinestones and feathers. She was like Maddy from the prom challenge with Christian. Only with less fabric.
The previews at the end of lat week's PR showed Ricky saying 'I could give them pointers on what to do, but why should I?' I guess that really came back to bite him because Ricky is [finally] out!! He didn't cry when he found out. Which was kind of funny, seeing that he cries at everything else. The judges were all 'Well, it's a nice bathing suit.' Which is what Christian said earlier on in the show. And Tim told him 'It's a little Wonder Woman.' I'm just glad he's out though!
