Jas <3

Jas has gotten so big.

She looks pretty today, because she just came back from the groomers.
Well, she's always pretty, but she's soft now too.
And she's just adorable, as always.
We were near Dad's yesterday on the buses and I was like "I wanna go see Jas!"
But the bus diver didn't oblige with my wishes.
Debbie wants to go somewhere now.

It's Raining At Home

Honey's here!
Jasmine isn't a puppy anymore.

She's too big. But I loveeeee her.

It's raining at home, but I'm at Dad and Debbie's looking up alcohol.
No really, it's for health. Raquel's doing drugs, but not like that.
GAHHH I HAVE TO DO HOMEWORK NOW.
Because apparently uploading pictures of Jas doesn't qualify as health homework.
So says Debbie.

my new best friends

Okay, so Dad, Debbie, and I went to see the puppies today, and they are so adorable. We're deff getting a dog, and we're getting her Memorial Day weekend. We're not sure which one yet, because you get to decide when you go. Of course, we have no idea what we're going to name her yet, but we still have a month. [Let me know if you've got a good name.]

The mom, Saira. We saw the dad, Abbott, too, but we didn't get a picture of him.
One of the puppies I was holding, totally fell asleep while I was holding her.
Love them, fersure.

My foot is asleep

Right now I'm at D&D's, and I'm kind of sick? I had a fever [101.3] this morning and a bad headache. Here with Honey and Deuce [dogs we're dog-sitting, for those of you not in the know *couch cough* Abbey *cough cough*]. They get in fights a lot now, apparently, so the house is split into 2 sections, and one side is Honey's and one side is Deuce's. With like, gates and stuff.

Tomorrow we're going to look at the puppies! So can't wait. I deff wish my camera was working so I could take pictures.

Okay, so I'm going to the FDD with Dad tonight, so I might not be able to update about my day, but I'll deff try to. And if there are pictures I'll try to connect them to D&D's computer. So...yeah that's about it. My day today is so easy, oh em gee. I have Spanish [easy], Computer [blahh], Health Fair [idk??], and English [easy].

The Whole Thing

Here's the whole thing, start to finish. Well, maybe not everything, but the important stuff.
When we went to look at all the dogs I was little. Like, 6 or 7. I kept picking up guys by accident. I was so excited, you wouldn't even believe it, because this was going to be my dog. My dog that I was going to have from when she was a puppy. So we had driven like hours to this breeder with these golden retrievers and we got to meet all the puppies mom and grandma. We finally decided on a gorgeous little girl, but we couldn't take her yet because she wasn't old enough. So we came back, and on the ride home she kept wanting to come in the back seat with me and Katie. She was absolutely ahdorable.
When Cara was still small, like under a year old, she used to love laying under the little ledges from the cabinets in the kitchen. She would stick out a bit, and once or twice I may have tripped over her by accident [no surprise there], but she didn't care. She loved loved laying there, especially if Debbie was cooking and she dropped something, because she could just run over and scoop it up.
If I tried to typed every little thing I remember about Cara this post would take a really long time. If I did type everything about her and you decided to read the whole thing, you would be sitting at your computer for a week. So I'll try and keep this short.
When Cara was 3, she was diagnosed with cancer, lymphoma. She started going to Angell, and even though I wish she never had to go, I'm glad we had such a good hospital to take her to. Everyone there loved her and she was always good for treatments. She went into remission twice, but the cancer kept coming back. She was really doing great until 3 days before Christmas last year. She started shaking and she was mopey, and not herself at all. We took her to Angell and they kept her over night, and Dad and I went to visit her the next day. She was doing so good, and we just sat there for like half an hour with her in her little area. And I've got to tell you, even though she was doing better, it's scary seeing someone you love connected to an IV. I know it doesn't hurt [I've had one] but it's scary. So I want back home that night. The next night, it's Christmas Eve. Mom, Dave and I were almost ready to go to Auntie Sue's house, when Dad calls. And Cara has a tumor. And we're going to have to put her to sleep. Ha asks if I want them to wait until I can see her, and I'm like, 'Not if she's going to be in pain.' So that's it. I didn't want her to be kept waiting on me if she was going to be in pain. I really, really loved her, more than you would ever know, but I really think she knew that.
I've done a lot of crying over Cara, more than I thought I would. Most of you reading this have probably never seen me really cry, and trust me, you probably don't want to.
One thing that was really hard was going to Dad's and not having a dog there. I had been coming here to see her 5 years and it's just not the same. It was hard seeing that one Christmas present under the tree when all the other ones had been opened. It was hard getting up in the morning and not having her come say hello. It was even hard not seeing her and Blizz fight over the couch.
Now that we're going to be getting a new dog soon, I'm really happy, but I'm scared too. [I cried in the car when Dad told me.] I don't want that all to happen again. And I know that what ever dog we're going to get could never replace Cara, but I don't think we're looking to replace her, I think we're just looking for a dog. Somebody to hug, somebody to have greet you in the morning, somebody that you have to house-train all over again. And you know what?? I absolutely can't wait.

So yesterday was fun!! Lizzie's party then Papa's.

Laura is against smoking. Obviously.
Owls are cute. ♥
Greta es muy macho. [Ha! A whole sentence in Spanish!]
Hannah loves skateboarding.
Papa's-Had a duck race, but the ducks got stuck so I had to climb up the waterfall to get them out. Auntie helped. The we talked about Saw movies and such. Then G and I slept over.
And today was ah-may-zing too!! With Dad all day.
Got an iPod touch!! Love it, it's so fierce. Really fab!!
Dad told me that he and Debbie decided that we are getting another dog! A golden, duh, in May or June. I'm so happy!

Right now

I'm at D&D's and they don't have any tea, and that is greatly upsetting. So anyway, we're just chilling, and Maggie is on the floor chewing on her little bone thing. I just told her she has a big head, which she does, but in the cutest possible way.

Party wasn't that, I always think it will be because there is no one my age, but it was fine. So now we're here and I'm kind of wondering if we have any popsicles, because I was just e-mailing Elise about them [Feel better soon Elise!!] so I am going to check.
xoxo

Maggie May

I swear to god this dog is soooo adorable!! She is staying with Dad & Debbie through Monday, and she is so cute, you guys would never believe it!!

World Wildlife Fund

So when I was at Dad's Debbie asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I was like uh...I dunno? But there is this really cool thing where people can buy you like a gift card for WWF [World Wildlife Fund] and then you can choose an animal from the magazine or online and adopt it! It's not like they are going to bring it to your house cause it's like, wild and stuff. But the animals are endangered so you are helping them. It's so awesome!! ♥♥
Schoolie, blahhhh.
